Info: For sale is this classic 1952 or ‘53 Spartan Royal Spartanette vintage travel trailer in ready to restore condition. The trailer has most of the original cabinets and hardware that can still be used but is missing the fridge and stove, the street side cabinets over the wheel well and the bedroom closet. The beautiful birch wood interior paneling is still there, but was painted white by a previous owner. Inside the closets were never painted and they still glow with the warm varnished wood look which I believe can be restored by stripping the paint. The flat glass in several windows is broken but all the operating hardware looks to be there. Sides are straight and rub rail is intact, but there are holes torn in the front panel and on the curb side. Both entry doors are missing, as are all the exterior lights and the curved rear rub rails. There are no signs of water intrusion inside the trailer and floor feels solid throughout. Currently the trailer has a swamp cooler mounted on the roof which we plan to remove and it is riding on some older tires that are fine for a few miles but should be replaced for a long haul. One wheel is a different style than the other three, but it towed fine. Trailer is in remarkable shape for being 50 years old - this is one worth rescuing and restoring to all its previous glory.
